The First Coast Miata Club took a trip to Tavares, FL, to ride one of Orlando and Northwestern’s last trains to Mt. Dora. Florida Central, owner of the line, has declined to maintain the line from Tavares to Mt. Dora to passenger train standards,, and so “The Golden Triangle Route” will be shortened to simply traveling between Tavares to Eustis.
